10 videos coming to Netflix this week

But how do you decide on all the wonderful new videos that will be added to Netflix this week? For this list, I’ll decide on ten movies that I really appreciate. Then, at the end of the article, locate the full list of videos to be added to Netflix on August 1.

In fact, I miss the kind of box office hit that was exclusive to Hollywood in the late 1990s and early 2000s. These kinds of big, stupid and funny thrillers that were based on mysterious monsters hiding on the horizon were wonderful entertainment, and Anaconda was one of the best. Anaconda is full of wonderful performances (players like Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube and Jon Voight) and emotions that make a night of a laugh at the movies fun.

Is there a better soundtrack than barbershop? Marvin Gaye, Ginuwine, Ghostface Killah, B2K, I mean, what a crazy band. And the movie captures the exciting power of those songs, while Barbershop settles into a small hairdresser that’s full of interesting, entertaining (and fun) conversations that will keep you hooked throughout the movie.

Animated films and television series are lately in a successful era, and Children of the Sea is one of the most notable. This glorious adventure film follows a teenage girl attracted to an aquarium where she thinks she has noticed a ghost. She makes the decision to investigate the stage after slipping in combination with a mysterious pair of siblings.

Perhaps no Oscars deserved that of Denzel Washington’s Best Supporting Actor award for Glory. This epic film is one of the most productive war films of the last 20th century, featuring captivating performances and charming cinematography. Glory will make you wonder what happened to the kind of war over the years.

Oh, fat boy. If you’ve never noticed, now is the time to resolve this issue. And if you’ve noticed … Well, I guess it’s time to see him again. This fashionable musical looks and offers purely sweet entertainment from start to finish. Grease is more than a film: it has become a (well-deserved) staple of American culture.

It’s no joke: one of my favorite videos is Magic Mike XXL. But I also like the original film that featured the series, a film that has an absolutely different and captivating power than the second. Steven Soderbergh’s colorful drama is charming and features superbly choreographed dance sequences. Magic Mike is as wonderful today as it was 8 years ago.

Here’s a movie I saw a long time ago and I didn’t like it. Not Another Teen Movie is the kind of movie I would never have given the possibility of a moment, until a friend forced me to see it again recently. And I have to say this movie nails it. Not Another Teen Movie seems to be nothing more than a mad parody of the best school movies, and brings out this hilarious formula brilliantly.

Netflix doesn’t load many older horror videos on its line. So when I saw that Possession was coming to the streaming service, my eyes lit up. I love this vintage from Polish director Andrzej Żuławski, who (in my opinion) created one of the weirdest and most unpredictable horror films of the 1980s. Possession follows a woman whose behavior is neurotic, for reasons I won’t reveal. Honestly, you better watch it instead.

Jake Gyllenhaal is one of the actors where whatever the assignment is, I know I have to see her. And wildlife is on that list. Directed through Paul Dano and starring Carey Mulligan, this gripping indie drama of 2018 focuses on a wildfire. After Gyllenhaal’s character goes to fight the fire, he forces Mulligan’s character and his son to fend for themselves.

The 2000s were an excellent time for films of the circle of relatives who possessed a whimsical sense of adventure. Zathura is actually one of the stars of the decade, employing rising actors like Josh Hutcherson and Kristen Stewart, as well as established actors like Dax Shepard and Tim Robbins, to create a momentous laugh experience. Zathura is a 21st century edition of Jumanji, while the film follows 3 younger brothers and sisters playing a board game on the theme of the area coming to life.
