Well, let me introduce you to 28MagicFans, an LGBTQ-owned shop whose owner Darien realized the world needed needed these over-the-top fans during a too-hot trip to Walt Disney World. He made his dream a reality and designed bamboo fans that are 13 inches folded and about 25 inches when opened. As if the act of fanning yourself wasn’t dramatic enough, they make a loud *THWORP* noise when opened. The Princess and the Frog’s Charlotte La Bouff would certainly approve.

Park Candy is a Black-owned business by Carise Pernell and her partner Steve Fox. Carise creates the majority of the designs while Steve “dreams up” products. I love how unique and creative their items are and, honestly, I find myself smiling just scrolling through their site. As someone who has been a hardcore Taylor Swift fan for over a decade and a Disney fan since, well, birth, this entire collection speaks to my soul. This book (the fourth volume in the series) beautifully showcases the work of the 1950s and 1960s and the Walt Disney Studios. I’m sure, as a real fan, you’ve heard about Mary Blair and are familiar with her influence on the “It’s a small world” ride, so why not learn more about her work on Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland? My beloved golden retriever Luke recently passed away and, understandably so, my family and I have been heartbroken and mourning the loss. During this tough time my husband surprised me with a custom drawing of Luke as if he was a Disney character (as all things Disney bring me the most joy). I can’t begin to tell you how special this gift is to me, but I *can* say how wonderful Casey (the artist and shop owner) is! She checked-in throughout each step of the drawing process, sending over each sketch and asking for feedback to ensure his likeness was captured. I’ll cherish this piece of art forever and ever. I’ve had the pleasure of trying the many flavors offered by Expedition Roasters and am a big fan! I love the way they packaging looks in my kitchen (extra magic!) and the taste is incredible. My favorite so far has been the Wonderland Coffee Crumb Cake — it was so sweet I didn’t need to add my usual spoonful (or three) of sugar. My favorite packaging, however, goes to Ghoulish Delight because it looks just like The Haunted Mansion decor.
