The highlight of Fashion Week, which kicks off in New York in February and travels to London and Milan before ending in Paris in early March, will offer design inspiration beyond the realm of fashion. From elaborate runway designs to in-store installations, the presentations will offer the same insight into the reflections that are awakening artistic administrators right now. Read on for six moments when fashion meets interiors that can motivate your next design project.

Khaite brutal (ist)

Tradition would likely demand a ribbon cutting, but fashion designer Catherine Holstein did something else at the opening of her Mercer Street showcase in New York City last month: the founder, artistic director and recently named American Womenswear Designer of the Year by the CFDA, the label it. Khaite featured the brand’s FW23 display in the boutique’s elegant commercial interiors. Clad in concrete and steel, the futuristic, dark frame was designed in collaboration with Holstein’s husband, architect Griffin Frazen.
