From September to the first Monday in May, big-screen premieres that delve into the inner workings of Vogue (how the magazine is created, how the covers are selected, what happens on the stages of the brand’s most ostentatious occasions) have long been a staple of the fashion documentary subgenre. And now, a juicy new edition is about to join its ranks: In Vogue: The 90s, a six-part retrospective of some of the most stunning moments from this tumultuous and transformative decade of fashion, as spread in the pages of the publication.
The series, which will premiere on Hulu, will be promoted through the Vogue podcast series of the same name, which aired in 2020. Going back in time to 1990, he analyzed the most enduring trends of the time and charted the rise of its biggest stars.
