A wonderful Attack on Titan movie has been announced, and it’s the definitive edition of the anime’s epic finale.

Attack on Titan is a wonderful movie and is the definitive way to see the end of one of the most productive anime of the moment.

Attack on Titan The Movie: The Last Attack combines the two “final chapters” into a single 145-minute package. The two extra-long episodes were released in 2023 and concluded a series that began in 2013.

Although a release date has yet to be announced in the West, the Attack on Titan movie will be released in Japanese theaters on November 8.

Hopefully it gets there, because the innovations are already worth it: The focus is on the sound: The Last Attack will feature 5. 1 surround sound as well as updated visuals compared to the TV version.

In a statement, series director Yuichiro Hayashi said (H/T Crunchyroll): “I first drew the storyboards [for The Final Chapters] with the concept that it would be seen as one film. To have a chance for everyone. Watching him perform in the most productive environment imaginable, the theater, is a dream come true for me. ”

A trailer for Attack on Titan The Movie: The Last Attack was also released. In this preview, the teaser shows the premise of the anime’s ending when Eren aims to provoke The Rumbling, an apocalyptic occasion where titans run across the planet and destroy all life, to prolong the cycle of revenge and violence between Marley. and Paradise Island. You can see the trailer yourself above.
