“You’re Not So Invited to My Bat Mitzvah” is the highest-rated film of Adam Sandler’s successful career and is also a hit with streaming audiences.
The Netflix film about the teen drama and sacred rite of coming of age features his real wife and daughters. This means that 96% of online critics surveyed through had an overall positive reaction to the film. That’s more than his hugely popular comedies of the 1990s (like “Billy Madison,” which scored 40%) and his more acclaimed dramas (like like “Uncut Gems,” which scored 91%).
