Akon turned out to be a guy with a plan after unveiling the next steps in the structure of his new city in Senegal, which compared to the fictional Black Panther country of Wakanda.
The locked up singer secured $6 billion (4.4 billion pounds) in investment for the new area, nicknamed Akon City, in June and has now revealed what to expect from the ambitious project.
At a news conference Monday, Akon said he was looking for the city, which will be near Dakar, to be a “home” for African-Americans and other black communities around the world.
“The house formula treats them unfairly with so many other tactics you’ll never imagine.And they go through it because they feel there’s no other way,” Akon said at the conference.
“So if you come from America, Europe or the diaspora and feel you need to make a stopover in Africa, we need Senegal to be your first stop.”
The 47-year-old man, whose genuine name is Aliaune Akon Thiam, also visited the Mbodienne site with government officials and detailed the city’s districts.
These come with a generation center, a beach resort, recording studios and even a movie theater called Senewood, Senegal’s reaction to Hollywood.A hospital and police station will be built in the moment phase and Akon City is expected to use its own cryptocurrency called AKoin..
Akon revealed that so far they had secured about a third of the compulsory funds, but was unable to call donors due to non-disclosure agreements.
Akon City presents detailed and interactive maps of the proposed domain design that, frankly, seems the ultimate futuristic position on the planet.

Akon City uses a ‘smart city’ approach, a mix of ‘Internet of Things (IoT) devices, software solutions, user interfaces (UI) and communication networks.’
Rapper Lonely signed documents to officially own the land in January and that Akon City will take about 10 years to build.
The assignment led to a hypothesis about Akon’s net worth, but remained shy when Nick Cannon asked him if he was a billionaire.
In an interview with Wild N’Out host Akon replied: “I had the feeling that if you were to call yourself a billionaire, I don’t even think billionaires call themselves billionaires.Because you have no idea how much you are.”
“When I hear things like that, I feel very unhappy because when I travel, I see a lot of things happening.So many people who want to … things to solve. And if you have a billion dollars in the bank, while you have all those other people suffering, that’s crazy to me.”It’s like a billion dollar loss.”
