Like it or not, we couldn’t scroll aimlessly without tutorials on milk makeup or glazed donuts flooding our social media screens. Then, the blueberry milk nails that sparked the good-looks debate of the year: why do we call good-looking trends after lunch?

Food and good looks have long been connected to a history that dates back centuries, with many cultures employing food as a key element for skincare, hair, and makeup needs.
