McLean told Good Morning America that her two daughters, aged 3 and 7, were excited to see him on the ABC quiz series.
“They are extremely cheerful, my eldest, ” he revealed.

“She has been doing competitive dancing for two years and my youngest daughter is clearly looking to follow in her older sister’s footsteps, so they are simply delighted. It’ll be wonderful for them to see Dad sing on TV,” McLean joked.
On Instagram, the singer said he is in a position to win the coveted Mirrorball trophy.
“We went through the mirror, honey! I am very grateful to @dancingabc and @abcnetwork for the opportunity to enroll in the cast of #DWTS this season. I would also like to thank my wife and two daughters for letting Dad broadcast this new adventure. I do EVERYTHING for you! Get ready, BSB Army, it’s becoming a crazy race. Let’s do this !!!!!! “If there are those who can have Mirrorball, it’s you,” Carter told his friend in GMA.
This season of “DWTS” will not look like any other season because precautions are taken in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. For example, dancers (even married couples) will have to live for the duration of filming.
The rule has been implemented so that if a professional dancer becomes infected, the fate of the other festival professional will be compromised.
