A BBC presenter was left stunned when a bloke made a derogatory comment during the channel’s special D-Day coverage. Kirsty Young was the director of the BBC’s D-Day 80: Tribute to the Fallen programme, which commemorates the 80th anniversary of the historic D-Day landings. While presenting the occasion to viewers, the BBC had planned a series of commemorative programmes. .
