Linkin Park, a pioneer of Nu Metal, joins the virtual rhythm game Beat Saber.
You’re Linkin Park, aren’t you? They were great at first, with hits like Crawling, In the End, One Step Closer and, of course, Numb. Yes, the famous decent nu steel band, not the horrible one you might be thinking about. (It’s Limp Bizkit. These are the worst).
Linkin Park probably wouldn’t be creating new music after the sad death of singer Chester Bennington in 2017, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t much to enjoy in the band’s catalog. Beat Games, developer of Beat Saber, tends to agree.
Available now on PS VR, Steam and Oculus Store, you can now purchase Linkin Park Music Pack, which brings 11 songs from Linkin Park to Beat Saber, the awesome virtual rhythm game.

With a new Nintendo Indies Direct just around the corner, one of the previous announcements of the occasion is news again.
Sports Story, the sequel to the brilliant Golf Story, was announced at the Nintendo Indies Direct performance in December 2019. Promise more antics of Golf Story, a game that crushes Mario Golf: Advance Tour (also known as the most productive golf game) with The peculiar RPG Heart of Pokémon Earthbound or classic.
We were looking ahead, but unfortunately Sports Story was delayed. It was originally introduced for 2020, but there is no new publishing window at this time. So, don’t expect to see any more on the next Nintendo Indies Direct.
Why was Sports Story delayed? Developer Sidebar Games went to Twitter to explain:
– Sidebar Games (@sidebargames) August 17, 2020
It’s a family story. “The game has become quite ambitious and we’re excited to know how this can work,” it reads, and the developer needs to “take more time to paint in Sports Story and make sure everything gets into the game.”
Or if you hear it from the cast of Sports Story themselves:

And that’s not bad, honestly. We sensed it. Games take a long time to play. It’s really hard! So take as much time as you want at Sports Story, Sidebar Games, because we’re excited.

Nintendo is a new Indie World Direct show on Tuesday.
Nintendo says the broadcast will last about 20 minutes and will come with data on the next list of independent games for the change.
It’s smart to see that independent studios continue to attract Nintendo’s attention, especially in the absence of large Ads for Switch games. (We may not count Pikmin 3 Deluxe, no matter how much we can’t wait to see it again).
If the windows of the independent world beyond have something to say, there is a chance that we will get some wonderful game releases after the show.
The show will be broadcast on Nintendo’s YouTube channel in the next few hours.

UFC four makes a double retirement at Animal Crossing: New Horizons to take the most sensible place in the UK video game rankings.
It must have hurt, but it’s great to see a whole new setting in the 10 most sensitive Britons. UFC 4 deyet No. 1 brought down the Animal Crossing: New Horizons pillar through one place.
However, we expect Nintendo to hit the punch with five games in the ten most sensitive. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is third on the podium. Paper Mario: The Origami King and Ring Fit Adventure are respectively No. 8 and No. 10. And the Switch edition of Minecraft released through Nintendo is at No. 6.
Ghost of Tsushima, a PS4 exclusive, competes with the Mongols (and their camera) in fourth place. The F1 2020 also shows some resistance, dropping a position to No. 9.
Further down the table, the full edition of Horizon Zero Dawn returns to No. 34, compatible, we hope, through the recent version of the PC game. The Nordic REM of THQ from Destroy All Humans! , which debuted at number 3 two weeks ago, fell from 21 spots to number 39.
Here are the 10 most sensible complete GfK. Note that the chart only tracks sales of box names and comes with virtual purchases.

Want new Nintendo Switch games? We have new Nintendo Switch games. Here are the new versions of this week’s eShop.
Come on, intrusive user interface! This is the quote from Gleamlight, DICO and D3’s new 2D action game. There is more than an echo of Hollow Knight in his artistic direction and melancholy tone, however, the images of the stained glass windows are a dinner for the eyes. Let’s hope the game builds its own identity from the point of view of the game.
Peaky Blinders fans eliminate their, uh, sharp blinkers from FuturLab, which brings the hit TV series to Switch in an intriguing tactical stealth game. The mechanics of chronology look great, and if the design of the project is up to the task, it may be an unforeseen small-scale gift.
We are also very happy to see 2K bring the PGA Tour 2K21 to Switch, a series that we enjoyed a lot in its past form of The Golf Club. If the game works well, it will be a welcome addition to the small library of sports games on most consoles.
Finally, the long and tortuous adventure of Eternal Castle [REMAStered] ends this week when the game nevertheless comes to light in Europe. We liked it. More or less. Well, maybe.
New Nintendo Switch games come with Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, Cecconoid, Phoenotopia: Awakening and Even The Ocean.
We will update this page with any adjustments during the week. In the meantime, here’s the full diversity of new nintendo eShop versions.
