“The Grifter’s Club,” released Tuesday, claims Epstein was a member of The Trump’s club until 2007, when he was banned for beating another member’s daughter. Co-author Nicholas Nehamas told the paper that records show epstein’s account at the club closed in October 2007.
Trump has in the past referred to a fight with Epstein, who faced sex trafficking rates before committing suicide in a criminal last year. The president said last year that he was “not a fan” of Epstein and “evicted” him from Mar-a-Lago, the Trump hotel that is now his official residence. The president also claimed that they had not spoken for 15 years.
One member of the club said Trump “evicted Epstein after Epstein harassed a member’s daughter.” The way this user described it, such an act could irreparably damage the Trump brand, leaving Donald without selection yet for Epstein,” Sarah Blaskey, Herald investigative reporter and one of the book’s co-authors, told the newspaper. The president recently raised his eyebrows when he commented on Ghislaine Maxwell, an Epstein associate who has been accused of helping recruit young women who have been sexually abused through the disgraced financier.

He repeated this sentiment in an interview with Jonathan Swan of Axios published on Monday, saying, “She is now in prison. Yes, I wish him good luck.”
