Many enjoy celebrities for their music, movies, or other media that makes them famous. But, like us, they also love the thrill of sport. Many know Justin Bieber’s love for the Toronto Maple Leafs or Will Ferrell’s antics on Crypto. com. Sand. Still, some of the most passionate and enthusiastic celebrities in sports arguably come from the Vancouver Canucks. There are some die-hard Canucks fans here, as well as some big names who were seen at Rogers Arena last season.

Based in Vancouver, Cathcart first gained attention for her portrayal of Kitty Song Covey in the film adaptation of the e-book ÀAll the Boys I’ve Loved Before, released in 2018. In the next two films, she reprised her role and then starred in her own Netflix series, XO, Kitty. Last season, she was seen at the All-Star Game dressed in merchandise from her hometown team, the Vancouver Canucks.

Hadwin is a Canadian professional golfer whose winning record includes one on the PGA Tour, two on the Web. com Tour and two on the Canadian Tour. Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Hadwin now lives in Abbotsford, Colombia. I noticed that he supported the Vancouver Canucks and occasionally played golf with some of them.

BBNO$, a Vancouver rapper, is best known for his 2019 hit “Lalala. ” His discography also includes the 2021 track “Edamame” and the 2024 track “Lil’ Freak. ” He has made a few appearances at Rogers Arena over the years, adding one with functionality this season. As a Canucks fan, he made a point of hanging out with Elias Pettersson and pushing some buttons in the team’s pregame intro video.

As the lead singer of Nickelback, Canada’s most unfairly arguable band (why do other people still hate them?), Kroeger’s colorful voice can be heard on popular songs like “Rockstar” and “How You Remind Me. ” Although Kroeger is good friends with Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid, Kroeger has made appearances for him at Rogers Arena along with many other celebrities.

Smulders is another Vancouver resident who has made a name for himself in the film industry. His most notable performances were as Robin Scherbatsky in How I Met Your Mother and Maria Hill in Marvel Studios films and televisions such as Avengers and Agents of S. H. I. E. L. D. He previously starred in the Canucks’ pre-game introductory video for the 2022-2023 normal season and has also referenced his favorite team in his various television appearances.

Best known for his role as Mike Wheeler on the Netflix series Stranger Things, Wolfhard is a Vancouver local and found himself rooting for his hometown team while visiting Rogers Arena. The young actor also makes music and has recently directed in Atlanta and Birmingham.

There are very few people in Vancouver who don’t know who Kevin James is, even though the actor is not from British Columbia. Here Comes the Boom, Paul Blart: Mall Cop and Grown Ups are just some of the titles for which the American comedian and actor is known. James is filming his next movie, Playdate, in Vancouver; During his time here he was noticed at various Canucks games (even one row above Chad Kroeger at one point).

Let’s be honest; No other celebrity may match Michael Bublé’s fandom for his hometown Vancouver Canucks. The Burnathrough singer and Christmas legend has been very vocal about his opinion of the Canucks, as evidenced by his appearance on various hockey media shows. He doesn’t cheer on his team; fans can find him singing Christmas carols at Canuck Place or recruiting NHL players for his own all-star team.

Best known for his role in Zoolander as the stylish male Hansel, Wilson is another face easily recognizable to the general public. Like James, he’s also been in Vancouver for a short time, taking part in an unnamed golf comedy series that’s filming here. He made an appearance in the Canucks’ final playoff game against the Edmonton Oilers.

Hailing from Kitsilano, the Deadpool actor has long been identified as one of Vancouver’s most beloved local celebrities. An avid hockey fan, he was racing to buy the Ottawa Senators from the Melynk family, but his organization folded early in the process. Reynolds has also made an impression in some of the Canucks’ advertising videos.
