Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli turns his Surrey home into drive-in cinema – and he’ll also cook the food

Mr Zilli, 64, has teamed up with Flix Drive In to provide the unforgettable experience post lockdown.

Movie lovers are enjoying their cinema trips rather differently these days due to social distancing rules as drive in cinemas pop up all over the UK.

This particular one will see the the huge screen set up in a field at Mr Zilli’s home in Bletchingley, Surrey.

As well as watching their favourite flicks, ticket holders will also be able to order delicious food from the chef’s very own summer menu.

Speaking about the new venture, Mr Zilli said: “This is a chance for people to come and experience a real slice of the legendary Italian hospitality.

“I have loved my move to the Surrey countryside, and the extra space has given me the opportunity to throw open my doors and show people what the Zilli experience is all about.”

Mr Zilli has space for 120 cars for each film, which will be shown on an enormous high quality LED screen.

The cinema is in the same location as the famous chef’s new venture, Casa Zilli, where he has created a candle collection, inspired by an Italian herb mix, and where people can experience great home cooking.
