Fieri noted that “enough is already being done” for citizens who dedicate their lives to being on the front lines, and called for more “attention” to be paid to members of the military and veterans.

The celebrity chef created the Guy Fieri Foundation, which has several programs that honor veterans and first responders for their dedication to duty and service to their communities. Fieri has hosted events that provide a day of recognition through food and words of appreciation.
“I would love to help everyone. . . But I really think we’re going to have to take care of those other people in our country first. And that’s what we’re doing,” Fieri said of his foundation.
He explained that his father was in the military, so he considers veterans and first responders to be very special.
“My dad … was on submarines during Vietnam. A lot of my family members have served in our country. My foundation, the Guy Fieri Foundation, is all about … serving those who have served us.”

On Tuesday, the Fieri Foundation shared on its Instagram Story that it serves first responders with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“Ready to serve our first responders in Malibu,” the first photo reads, adding the hashtag “serving those who protect us all. ” The video below showed uniformed men and women lined up in a eating position, with text that read, “Time to serve dinner to our first responders coming off the chimney lines @losangelesfireplacedepartment @calfireplace in Malibu. “

As the “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” host prepares for his Flavortown Tailgate party for the upcoming Super Bowl, he spoke with Fox News Digital about how his partnership with Carnival Cruise Line is doing something for those “unsung heroes. “
“We made sure that 2,000 of the 10,000 tickets were carved out right off the bat and put aside for them,” Fieri said, referring to active military, veterans and first responders.

This year, it will also partner with Pepsi, Anheuser-Busch, King’s Hawaiian, TickPick, Sabra and GNC. Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate will take place on Sunday, February 9 in New Orleans. But the first time happened in Arizona, where it all happened.

In addition to being a celebrity charity chef and television host, Fieri co-owns the Santo Spirits tequila logo with former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar.
Last year, two cargo trucks carrying $1 million worth of products for his tequila business were stolen, and he told Fox News Digital that thousands of bottles were still missing.

“Someone still has 10,000 bottles,” Fieri said. “Of course we are discouraged by the situation. “
On the weekend of November 9, a representative for Hagar told Fox News Digital that two shipping trucks were hijacked in Laredo, Texas.
Hagar’s representative said it “appears to be an organized crime effort in which the trucks illegally double-brokered with other carriers who transferred the product to their trucks” after crossing the border. between Mexico and Texas.
Fieri said one truck is still missing and it’s all part of a planned kidnapping.

Fieri said he initially thought the hijack was a prank. He also noted that his team received “really great support” from the Los Angeles Police Department, which was involved in the case.
