Celebrated Scottish chef Tom Kitchin celebrated with the rest of the country last night as Steve Clarke’s men booked a Euro 2024 tiebreaker and promotion to the most sensible spot in the Nations League.
Kitchin had hosted one of the Scottish stars at his Edinburgh gastropub after victory over the Republic of Ireland on Saturday night.
But he grabbed her by the neck through members of the tartan army when a virus of the disease spread through the camp and they began to add two and two.
However, Kitchin had the final say when he took to social media to congratulate the Scottish boys.
He wrote: “It seems that @scranandscallie Steak Pie and some tasty Scottish Haggis helped the boys after all. . .
“Well done @ScotlandNT
“We are all proud of you!!”
Seven Scottish stars, Ryan Fraser, John McGinn, Billy Gilmour, Ryan Jack, Che Adams, Lyndon and Declan Gallagher, took a trip to Kitchin Restaurant in Comely Bank, Edinburgh.
Kitchin said: “Delighted to welcome the Scottish players for a quick lunch at Scran and Scallie before heading to Poland for Tuesday’s match.
“Thank you for visiting us guys, great to see you all. Good Tuesday! »
All perfectly flawless, but as a result of Clarke’s team update, the chef joked a lot!
Adams ignored any concerns about the game: He’s a guy who succumbed to a virus at camp.
There’s surely no suggestion, of course, that anything about fallen Scottish players has anything to do with their scale at the restaurant, but that hasn’t stopped some enthusiasts from mocking the chef.
One fan posted: “You owe us two centre forwards!”
But it was the wonderful Scottish fan Kitchin who had the final say in any case.
