Celebrity Gogglebox welcomes 60s pop legend to the couch with Gyles Brandreth

CELEBRITY Gogglebox has announced a new addition to the couch.

The Channel 4 hit returned this month with a series of surnames: Mel B, Shaun Ryder, Rylan Clarke and Jane McDonald.

And This Morning favorite Gyles Brandreth returns as he chews on the week’s TV.

However, his longtime partner, veteran actress Sheila Hancock, is taking a break from filming and a ’60s pop legend will join him tonight.

Scottish singer Lulu swaps the studio for the sofa as a complement to Gogglebox.

Tonight’s lounge critics will give their opinion on a variety of exhibits including Love Island and Bake Off: The Professionals.

Babatunde Aléshé and Mo Gilligan, as well as Mel B and her daughter Phoenix, also appear on Friday night’s must-see show.

Fans rushed in with a wave of red core emojis for the new addition.

Elsewhere, Jeff Brazier revealed a behind-the-scenes verbal exchange of X-rated Gogglebox with his son Bobby that was so impolite that the manufacturers probably wouldn’t show it on TV.

The father-son duo joined the Channel 4 show in 2023.

Jeff and Bobby, Strictly’s favorites, have fan favorites on Gogglebox because of their funny jokes and witty comments.

The TV presenter, who is also the father of 19-year-old Freddie, revealed that one of their conversations was so shocking that it probably wouldn’t be remembered.

Jeff revealed, “Oh my God, I mean, it might not air and I wouldn’t need to say it, but yes, it was kind of wild and it was, yes, anything I wouldn’t possibly repeat.

“I said to myself, ‘Really?! I think your young men surprise you, especially when you have young guys, young men, I deserve to say that. “

More to come. . .
