The actress turned forty-five on Friday and marked the instance of a genuine quarantine: with a Zoom birthday party. “My first virtual birthday party Array … I think my mother fell asleep five minutes later,” Theron joked on Instagram along with a photo of the virtual celebration.
“Thank you all for your birthday wishes!” The star of Mad Max: Fury Road continued in legend. “2020 has been a difficult year, but today it’s definitely positive.”
The fellow actors at Theron wanted him to have a satisfied birthday in the comment segment of the article, with Reese Witherspoon writing, “Happy birthday to the fiercest queen of all! ✨? ❤️.»

Theron’s photo shows the star in the lower right frame laughing with his two daughters, on August 5, and Jackson, 8.
The mother of two opened up to PEOPLE on how she encourages her black daughters to feel empowered amid the continuing protests over police brutality and racial injustice.

The actress and manufacturer of Old Guard said in July that, despite having “had to have very complicated conversations” with August and Jackson “over the next two months, many of the ugly things that were going on in our world,” the women mobilized and took the lead.
“They searched so hard to be proactive in ‘Mom, what do we do? How can we replace that?” says Theron. “And only their willingness to present symptoms and need to pass protest, and they have their symptoms in the car.”
“And when they see the protesters in the roadside aspect, they’re going to say, “Mom, honk the horn. Klax, Mom, honk the horn, ” he added. There is a genuine sense of pride.”
