William Pitt Sothethrough’s International Realty Ridgefield brokerage agency (470 Main St. ) will participate in the annual Ridgefield Art Walk birthday party by welcoming artists Jennifer Kish and Eva Llanos.

Ridgefield agent Paul Gervais headlined William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty on the occasion and will host the reception to celebrate the two artists on Art Walk opening night on Aug. 26 from 5 to 8 p. m. m. On August 27 from 12:00 p. m. at 4:00 p. m. , the artists of the Paseo del Arte will be presented and Llanos will be portrayed outdoors in front of the brokerage.

The ninth annual edition of Art Walk will run until September 11. This year, Art Walk will feature approximately 50 artists (selected by the jury) along with 30 other artists.

Ridgefield distributors who will host meet-and-see events, art exhibits, and artist-related activities. A fundraiser for the Ridgefield Artists Guild, the Art Walk will continue with an Artists’ Day on Aug. 27 from noon to four p. m.

Demonstrations are also planned in front of the city’s shop windows on August 27. All works on display will be on sale and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Ridgefield Artists Guild.

Grab a paperback and take a mushroom walk guided by mycologist Zaac Chaves as part of Ridgebox continuing education. This is a mycology-focused ecological tour to one of the city’s open spaces in the city of Ridgebox. Participants in the walk will expand the fundamental equipment to better recognize several species of fungi, some not so unusual, in the city.

The Fairfield County Bank held its 151st annual meeting at the Silver Spring County Club (439 Silver Spring Road in Ridgefield) on July 20.
