Ryan Griffin is a dad at the moment!
Talia’s wife, singer of “Right Here Right Now,” gave birth to her son on Monday, July 27, an exclusive representative to PEOPLE showed.
“On July 27 at 3 a.m., we welcomed a valuable child to the Griffin family,” the country singer told PEOPLE. “We chose the so-called Jude Michael, which means ‘praise’ and ‘he who is like God’.”
He goes on to say that “Michael in particular selected to honor our expensive friend Busbee,” the Grammy Award-nominated composer and manufacturer who died of brain cancer last September at the age of 43.
“We can’t wait to introduce [Jude] to his older brother Levi Hart!” Add Griffin.

Griffin announced that he was going to be a father on March 1, sharing a trio of professional portraits of relatives who showed him and Talia posing with a blue ball and a super-smiling older brother.
“Our little circle of relatives is about to grow! We are very happy to welcome another BABY baby into our lives,” wrote the singer of “Going Going Gone Gone.”
“This child is lucky enough to have such a wonderful older brother,” Griffin said of his eldest son. “It’s so special to see the love Levi Hart already has for him ??”

During a 2017 discussion about the release of his music video for “Back Seats – Burnt CD,” Griffin told PEOPLE that his son influences his writing and also helps keep him alert.
“It’s another point of love you have for your son. I’ve heard it and all the clichés are true. But it actually helped my writing, because it puts me in another mood,” he said.
It is this love and affection that will keep Griffin on guard for the next 15 years. “I had a bourbon the other night and he sat on my lap and I look down and his hands are soaked in my bourbon and he shod them in his mouth,” the singer added.
