At a time when Americans can use their morals, David Blaine is about to embark on a new waterfall.
The magician announced his first live occasion in nearly a decade: flying over New York holding a pile of helium-filled balloons.
The illusionist and artist of the power of permanence teamed up with YouTube for the “Ascension” occasion in which he “will bring untethered wonders, hopes and opportunities as he departs from New Jersey and travel through New York to assume his ultimate ambitious and revolutionary feat. . again.”

“This trick has been going on for 10 years,” Blaine wrote on Twitter on Wednesday. “Let’s turn worry into and take magic to new heights.”
Blaine is about to let it go on Monday, August 31.
The magician has a long list of notable stunts: in 1999, Blaine buried him in a box under a water tank in New York. In 2003, he did a resistance trick in which he locked up a plexiglass case in London. In 2006, the star spent seven days submerged in a sphere full of water in New York.
But in recent years, Blaine has reportedly been charged with sexual assault through several women. In 2016, Blaine was charged with rape through a woman he met at a party in London in 2004. The illusionist denied the complaint and said the two had consensual sex. In May, detectives told The Sun newspaper that they did not have to take further action on the case. In 2019, New York Police also opened an investigation opposing Blaine after two complaints, which the magician also denied. It is not transparent if New York-based investigations are ongoing; no fees were charged.
