“My life with my kids, my feelings, it’s all on the table, but [Olive and Frankie] aren’t,” she says. “Because of my life experiences, I don’t sell my logo to my children. I’m not going to do it. But ignoring that component of my life would make me an automaton. That’s why it’s very creative to figure out how to put them in the tortilla and fold it, in a way that fits me. “
That’s not to say that your daughters don’t continually serve as inspiration, especially in 2020.

When she has discovered time for herself, Barrymore helps her maintain her optimism by “watching cooking exhibits while eating,” she adds.
