Meghan Markle is officially on Instagram.
The Duchess of Sussex kicked off the new year with a new Instagram post, activating her first private social media account since shutting down her lifestyle blog, The Tig, and deleting her Instagram ahead of her royal wedding to Prince Harry Array. It has long been rumored that the @meghan Instagram account belonged to the Duchess, she has just shown her presence with a new post, sharing a video wishing everyone a happy new year.
Harper’s Bazaar understands that the unfiltered video was filmed by her husband, Prince Harry, on a public beach near their home in Montecito, California. In the clip, Meghan can be seen frolicking on the beach, dressed in a California chic ensemble consisting of a white linen blouse and matching jeans. As he ran in front of the camera, he scrawled “2025” in the sand before fleeing.
With the new year setting a fresh tone, the duchess also updated her profile picture, settling on a photo of herself taken by photographer Jake Rosenberg. In the shot, she can be seen beaming from ear-to-ear, wearing a simple white dress in theme with her signature quiet luxury style.
