The soap icon, known to Robbie Jackson in Albert Square since 1993, struck a deal with ITV bosses to appear.
Dean, 44, will fly to South Africa in the coming weeks for the pre-recorded series “Best Of,” which will feature former campmates and air next year.
The star first made his impression on the 2006 edition of the show, completing fifth place, while Busted bassist Matt Willis was crowned king of the jungle.
A source said: “Dean is thought to be one of the most productive contestants the screen has ever had. When the All Stars screen was first mentioned, it was a call everyone wanted to take on board.
“It took time, but now he has signed on the dotted line and will be on the plane to South Africa with big names on the show. Everyone is spoiled. “
Boxer Amir Khan, 35, and Gillian McKeith, 62, of television, are the former stars of I’m a Celeb who are expected to participate in the spin-off.
Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell, 64, Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder, 59, and questionable socialite Lady C, 72, are also expected to participate.
The new series will be filmed in Kruger National Park where, ironically, the Australian edition of the exhibition is filmed.
Manufacturers will continue to shoot a series, with the new stars logo, in Murwillumbah, New South Wales, later this year.
Most likely, the Best Of edition will air in early 2023, giving audiences THREE series in less than two years as the exhibition returns from Gwrych Castle in North Wales to Down Under.
Series 3, the normal 2022 version, Best Of and the 2023 series, will be presented through presenters Ant and Dec.
