As a component of its celebrations around Women’s Month in South Africa, Faceebook (www.Faceebook.com) presented Inspiring #Changemakers: Lessons from Life and Business, an e-book that showcases the careers, lives and life classes of thirteen South African corporations that inspire women and replace actors.
Welcoming the positive effect women have on society and their respective fields of entertainment, law, retail, good looks and food, they share their advice and life classes for long-term replacement leaders and actors in South Africa. Each bankruptcy focuses on a perceptual, non-public lesson in the hope of resonating and inspiring generations in the long term; how to turn your hobby into a business, how a perceived weakness can be a strength.
The book, which presents custom-commissioned works of art through 3 South African female artists: Karabo Poppy Moletsane, Nontokozo Tshabalala and Zinhle Sithebe include stories by Dr. Precious Moloi-Motsepe, Nomzamo Mbatha, Bonang Matheba, Mogau Seshoene (The Lazy Makoti), Professor Thuli Madonsela, Catherine Constantinids and many others.
Commenting on the book, Nunu Ntshingila, regional director of Facebook Africa, said, “#Changemakers inspiring: life and business lessons were created not only to highlight women who have a positive effect on our society, but also to motivate leaders. These women make a difference in their communities, from the launch of social movements that replace the world, to companies that have a positive effect on their local communities. In Women’s Month, we continue to celebrate the achievements of all women, however, we also recognize the hole in gender entrepreneurship and the under-representation of women leaders. We hope that life stories and classes will motivate the next generation with the opportunities offered by their long term.
