Los Angeles-based developer Meir Kroll, founder of Always Construction, Inc. , is known for creating and building homes that have been rented by top-tier athletes, adding NBA stars Ben Simmons and Trae Young, and high-profile figures they’ve purchased, adding sports agent Rich Paul and MLS player Javier Hernandez.
Today, he is presenting his first outdoor commission in Los Angeles, in Boca Raton, Florida. Listed for $6. 85 million with board agent Senada Adžem and Brian Ross of Douglas Elliman, Villa Mallorca is a trendy mansion that draws inspiration from Balearic and Mediterranean architecture. To bring his first commission in Florida to life, he worked with the famous Spanish architect Jorge Biblioni Studio. The house combines fashionable European taste with the tropical sophistication seen in South Florida. “We chose the taste of the Spanish Revival for our new assignment because of Boca Raton’s rich architectural history,” Meir Kroll tells me. “First, architect Addison Mizner brought the Mediterranean flavor to the area, establishing a theme that came to define Palm Beach County, perfectly complementing the subtropical climate and lush natural landscape. Our goal was to create something not only modern and fresh, but also timeless. To make this vision a reality, we rely on the architectural expertise of Jorge Bibiloni from Mallorca, Spain.
Kroll praises Biblioni’s avant-garde use of vegetable stones and exotic woods, which can be noticed at Villa Mallorca. The home prioritizes indoor and outdoor living and includes open-plan living areas flooded with natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows that line up. Almost every single room. Ambient softness, comfortable lines, high ceilings, and an unbiased color palette give the home an extra sense of space and brightness.
The space features a spacious chef’s kitchen, equipped with a kosher setup and appliances from Thermador, Gaggenau and Bosch.
