Tamer Hassan shared his devastation and that of his daughter Belle Hassan when his circle of relatives was lost after the earthquake in Turkey.
More than 16,000 people died from horrific tremors in southeastern Turkey and Syria on Monday, while many remain missing under the rubble of collapsed buildings.
The first of the dual earthquakes had a magnitude of 7. 8 while the moment reached 7. 5.
As the rescue project continues, members of the family circle seek help in locating their loved ones.
Actor Tamer, 54, has now joined the public protest and revealed that members of his circle of relatives are missing.
Speaking to Sky News this morning, Tamer said: “I have no words for that. We are all devastated, as I explained before, we had a family lost and not found. “
Tamer revealed that he is in Cyprus lately and is raising money and sending materials and plans to Turkey to participate in the search soon.
“The greatest misery for me is that some spaces have been flattened absolutely any help,” he added.
Football Factory actor Tamer added: “What we’re looking to do is figure out precisely where the maximum is needed. “
Tamer said he “reached out” to everyone to help “as much as they could” amid the heartbreaking disaster.
In the interview, the actor held back tears and said, “We have a circle of relatives who are missing in those earthquakes, they have not been found.
“Because of the bloodless weather, we have no hope, we’re pretty worried,” she paused to control tears as reporter Mark Austin begged her to take her time.
Tamer revealed that other people were traveling to Turkey in an attempt to help, while the actor revealed that he was “trying to find a route” to assist in search and rescue efforts.
He added: “You need everything, medicines, water, gasoline. I hear horror stories of cranes parked up there with no labor, other people don’t know how to use them. “
Actor Tamer, who is the father of Love Island star Belle Hassan, shared his fears that other people are “turning around,” adding, “We just want from everywhere. “
Tamer’s emotional appeal comes after Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu revealed that his circle of relatives in Turkey was “sleeping outside. “
Ekin-Su, born in London to Turkish parents, lived for years in Istanbul, the country’s capital.
Speaking to Mark Austin on Sky News, he said: “I have a circle of family members who experienced the tremor in obvious ways, went out, slept outside.
“It’s scary because those are other people who are very close to me. I had a lot of other people on Instagram who contacted me, sent me the location of an address, live photos. They’re crying out for help. “
“I need to use my platform as much as possible to help anyone from Syria and Turkey. “
Ekin-Su also explained that he had “always lived on the edge” because of an earthquake.
