Shopping for groceries online can become overwhelming temporarily, and it’s not easy to know what’s worth your money in and what isn’t. That’s where we come in. The Vogue team has extensive experience in grocery shopping, whether it’s scouring antique jewelry flea markets, browsing online sales, or identifying those fancy needles on a bale of street hay.
Now that summer has arrived, we’re taking a break to take inventory of our wardrobes and find out where the gaps are. From new-season fashion heroes (think biker boots, comfy cardigans, and blouse-style dresses) to new brands you’ll meet in 2024, we’ve got you covered. Scroll down to view and shop our wish list for the new season.

Florals have received a very complicated update this season, thanks to the plethora of more subdued fall-inspired prints now hitting retail outlets. Case in point: the organza skirt published by Zara, which is the best floral skirt for those who, well, don’t make floral skirts. Elsewhere, we have Filippa K’s 90s-inspired dress, which looks suitably minimalist with its low waist, zipper closure, and ink tone.

You may be baking outside, but we’re feeling warm and fuzzy with Lisa Yang’s new Madelene Plus, which comes in the best shade of chocolate brown. Wear it now with miniskirts and jorts, then update it in September with skinny pants or mesh pencil skirts. GH Bass woven loafers are also among the most sensible on our fall wish lists, providing an unforeseen take on the vintage flat.

Striped shirts have been ubiquitous on our social media channels this season and we’re happy to report that they’re still new for Fall/Winter 2024 (although, really, it’s not a time-out piece). For a new take on the corporate classic, why not pass the adapted pieces and juxtapose them with a Y2K pleated miniskirt and metallic heels?

We can count on Marine Serre to bring us incredibly cool recycled parts for all seasons, and fall 2024 deserves to be no different. We love the contrast of the delicate lace with the logo T-shirt in the next purchase. Speaking of cult brands, Simone Rocha’s cult crossbody bag with pearls is now available as a crossbody bag and is capable of enhancing all your mid-season outfits. Run, don’t walk.

A stylish leather biker jacket is an outerwear hero that will never go out of style, and Cos’ cropped version piques our interest, thanks to its compatibility with a square shape and asymmetric collar. We showed up dressed in a lace midi skirt and sandals. sandals now, and then trade them in for leather boots and an oversized knit in the fall.

Plaid dresses have replaced florals this season, and Bernadette’s mini has been spotted on a variety of trendsetters on Instagram over the past few months. Eliminate all cheesy associations by pairing it with dad shoes and a textured bag, preferably the old-fashioned kind.

Last year’s most practical layered fashion will return for fall 2024, but this time, watch out for colorful stripes, like the Cos number below. Biker boots, on the other hand, are proving their consistent load with use this year, as we’ve noticed other people wearing them in all seasons. By August? Try dressing them up with a white miniskirt or midi.

Sometimes you can’t go past the classics, and a white blouse and black pants are a tried and true combination that will see you through fall. Cambridge Satchel has devised an unexpected collaboration with 2000s icon Hello Kitty. . . And we find ourselves inexorably drawn to the black leather bag. Cute has never been cooler. Nike’s collaboration with Jacquemus, abandoned this week, is causing a stir on social media and is timely on the eve of the Olympic Games that begin this week in Paris. The women’s track jacket is a standout piece from the collection, thanks to its sculptural appeal and two-tone color scheme. Meanwhile, Amsterdam-based brand Rohe is wowing global fashion this year with its clean-lined basics. The striped blazer will help you fall.
