Get ready for an epic movie night! The world’s latest Blockbuster store is now Airbnb

Are you looking for an unforgettable position to stay? Forget hotels and motels, because the newest Blockbuster store is officially indexed on Airbnb!

Sandi Harding, manager of the world’s newest Blockbuster store, indexed the Bend, Oregon store on Airbnb, giving moviegoers of a certain age a chance to revive a nostalgic summer sleepover before Netflix.

“When you call dibs for this stay, you do an ebooking one night in the ’90s, but this time you probably don’t have to beg your friends to hire the latest horror movie. We’ll give you the keys to the total store! ” Harding, who will act as host, wrote on his Airbnb list.

He adds that he hopes to offer a net feel amid the pandemic by opening the store to 3 quarantine capsules for a remote social movie night.

COVID-19 film delays: Disney brings back ‘Mulan’, ‘Paramountpush’ and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ to 2021

From August 17 to 1:00 p.m. PDT, citizens of Deschutes County, Oregon, can request an overnight reservation on September 18, 19, or 20 through Airbnb, where moviegoers can hire their favorite movies, all of which will be stored on their bedroom shelves.

And how much will this cost? Same as the typical movie rental in the day: $4! Renting a movie, what’s left costs only a penny less.

So what are the house regulations? You will need to be a resident of Deschutes County to request a stay and visitors must all come from the same house to minimize the threat of coronavirus transmission. And, of course, you’ll have to wear a mask. The store will be nicely cleaned in accordance with CDC rules and Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol.
