Katherine Mansted, cyber intelligence director at CyberCX, says the government’s cyber defense program has “intelligent mechanisms” that will be a “game changer” in preventing attacks.
Mansted spoke to Sky News Australia to discuss how businesses will need to remain vigilant against attacks in an ever-changing cyber environment.
“I think it’s an ambitious vision and a lot of it wants to be implemented in the next few years,” he said.

“There are some clever methods and mechanisms in this package that are going to be a real game-changer for some of them. . . for example, setting mandatory criteria for our internet items and devices, those reasonable little client devices that we all use and historically don’t use, I have no knowledge of cybersecurity.
