Harvey Weinstein fights extradition to los Angeles for fear of coronavirus exposure

Los Angeles district attorney Weinstein will be taken to Los Angeles, but his lawyer, Norman Effman, told TMZ that the former film maker will fight the lawsuit.

Effman told the media outlet that Weinstein thought his fitness would be in danger if he spent time in a criminal in Los Angeles. He’s already serving a 23-year sentence in New York.

Effman said Weinstein is absolutely not fighting extradition, he just wanted to wait for the infection rate to drop in Los Angeles. Weinstein intended to leave for Los Angeles in May, but the pandemic delayed his trial.
