The 2024 Highways Festival set the capital ablaze last Friday and Saturday, with country and Americana music to the level of the Royal Albert Hall in a packed stadium.
On Friday, May 17, Mirror journalist Mollie Quirk, who is an avowed country fan, attended the iconic festival for the second year in a row. Bringing all country music to London against the stunning backdrop of the iconic Royal Albert Hall. , the night was filled with chic vibes and wholesome country music. Country enthusiasts came together and I can say with certainty that it was a healthy night.
Hosted by Baylen Leonard, the colorful voice of Absolute Country Radio, the entire evening, which continued well into the night, was full of personality and style and, of course, brilliant live musical performances from some of today’s most no-nonsense country stars.

When asked how London’s Royal Albert Hall would compare to the iconic Grand Ole Opry before their performance, the boys said, “It’s weird because we were all born and raised in Nashville,” adding that they didn’t know how they would compare to the Opry. to the Royal Albert Hall.
“It’s the same feeling, I mean, it’s very iconic, historic and exciting,” they continued, adding that they’re well aware that not many other people have the privilege of performing at the London-based venue.
