I’M A Celeb and Celebrity SAS star Jack Maynard was rushed to the hospital for urgent surgery.
The star left in agony when he suffered appendicitis “out of nowhere” and shared an update for enthusiasts from his hospital bed.
Looking down in a face mask, Jack, 27, waved a sign of peace and thanked the enthusiasts for their adorable messages.
The star wrote: “At last back home to rest, to pamper myself.
“For those asking, I got appendicitis and had to get rid of it right away.
“The surgery went well, no problem, I spent a few nights in the hospital and now at home recovering. “
He signed his message “thank you guys. “
Jack’s older brother is singer Conor Maynard, who had a string of hit singles and a number 1 album in the UK when he burst onto the scene in 2012.
Jack is for his eponymous channel where he posts vlogs, challenges and occasional comedy comic strip videos for his millions of subscribers.
Prior to his web career, he worked as a coach.
Jack sensationally left I’m a celebrity in 2017 after just 3 exhibits and made headlines for racist and homophobic slurs before revealing that he had begged a 14-year-old woman to send him nude photos online.
The YouTuber’s spokesperson at the time issued a message that Jack should leave the truth screen to protect the fees that oppose him.
Speaking about the incident, the woman defended Jack and said, “He 16, I 14. It’s anything everyone can think of. “
“I never felt harassed. We were children, it never hurt me. That is a thing of the past. It’s a serious accusation, but a child makes mistakes. “
“He didn’t know how old I was and I didn’t know how old he was at the time. I can’t stress enough that the messages were harmless. “
After a series of press reports, Jack broke his silence on the scandal by posting an emotional video on YouTube.
Speaking on his 23rd birthday, he apologized to anyone he had disappointed and admitted he was “ashamed” of the things he had tweeted on social media.
He said: “I never sought to do something like this, I feel like I let you down so much, young, stupid, careless, I just didn’t think. “
He also made the impression in the Celebrity SAS celebrity edition series Moment on Channel 4.
Speaking about his time on the show, Jack said: “I was very happy because I felt mentally very intelligent. I felt like I regained that confidence because I felt like I could absolutely get out of my comfort zone, in a way like my worst nightmare, and do this as well as I think I did, I can put my brain in and do anything. “
