Joseph Gatt, who gave the impression on some episodes of “Game of Thrones,” was arrested on suspicion of having sex with a minor online, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Gatt, who played Thenn Warg in the HBO drama, was arrested early in the morning of April 6 through detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Juvenile Division, Internet Crime Task Force (ICAC), according to an LAPD news release posted Tuesday on its website.
Gatt received a search warrant after ICAC’s executing organization obtained data that the actor engaged in “sexually particular online communications with a minor across state lines,” he said.
The actor was later arrested at his Los Angeles home through detectives on an ongoing arrest warrant for touching a minor for a sex crime. According to TMZ, Gatt was released the same day on $5,000 bail.
USA TODAY has reached out to Gatt representatives for comment.

Gatt’s case remains an ongoing investigation through icac’s enforcement group, as the LAPD department continues to “seek to identify the victims. “
After his arrest on April 6, Gatt took to Instagram on Wednesday to respond to the “absolutely horrific and false allegations recently made against (him),” calling them “100% categorically false and reckless. “
“I showed errors and misleading data in today’s press release,” Gatt wrote. “I’m cooperating fully with the police and the Los Angeles Police Department to get to the bottom of things. I can’t wait to erase my reputation. “
