This year, however, the Pasadena Roses Tournament will broadcast “The New Year’s Celebration of the Rose Parade presented through Honda,” a two-hour TV entertainment special on January 1 with pre-recorded performances, celebrity appearances and more to celebrate history. This redesigned program will be broadcast by six Rose Tournament broadcast partners: at 7am on Univision and 8am on ABC, Hallmark Channel, KTLA, NBC and RFD TV.
While a Kaiser Permanente tank has been part of the parade for 15 years, they will trade their tank for a 90-second video on the theme “Homage to Fitness Heroes and a World Rich in Fitness and Disgusting,” which is expected to be seen through millions around the world. This exclusive and inspiring video will highlight fitness heroes while reinforcing the importance of appropriate protection and hygiene measures as we continue to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
