Kate Garraway in ‘terrifying’ car accident with young people as a tire explodes on the highway

Good Morning Britain star Kate Garraway has revealed that she and her children Darcey and Billy were “saved” after being close to a car accident she described as “terrifying.” The ITV presenter said this the first time they ventured out without her in poor health from her husband Derek Draper, who is still in the hospital after falling ill with coronavirus.

Kate, who takes her two children for a ride for the first time without Derek, in her first twist of the destination near the car today.

The star that declared it “absolutely terrifying” opened at the time next to a photo of his condition with two police officers and a snap of his tire that exploded on the road.

Kate wrote to her 916,000 fans on Instagram: “Thanks to our saviors Liz and Mark for @kentpoliceuk who stored me after a tire exploded on the road!

“I’ve never had one before, terrifying,” he shared.

“I controlled myself to stay in the car, but I couldn’t get off the road because there was no shoulder and when AA said they couldn’t come for an hour, after an hour it rang to say it could still be an hour. Police.

“They were so bright and gave us protection and now we’re on our way back by taxi, shaken but safe, with a crane on the way to the car.”

Kate concluded: “This is the first time we’ve also taken out young people without Derek, but we’re safe and will keep them absolutely informed about @gmb with @benshephardofficial from 6 a.m….” (sic)

Fans and friends of the GMB host rushed to send their wishes.

One fan involved wrote, “Oh my God, the content can harm you.”

He added: “Sounds scary. I’m glad everything’s okay.”

“Oh, my God, I’m glad I agree, Kate. You may have dispensed with it.

“At least you’re xxx, ” remarked a third.

Kate’s traumatic joy comes after informing her fans that she would give her ITV audience an update about her husband, who has been in the hospital since March when she had a coronavirus.

In addition to the shots of her and her ITV co-host, Ben Shephard, in “strange masks,” Kate said, “So I can’t wait to see them all at @gmb morning (we’ll lose the strange masks, don’t worry).

“After a few days, I hope to have an update for you about Derek. (Sic)

“See you at 6 a.m. with @benshephardofficial.”

One fan commented: “You’re doing amazing Kate for your family…keep strong and positive as much as you can..sending love for Derek.”

Kate, who starred in I’m A CelebrityArray.. Get me out of here last year, he returned to GMB last Monday after a four-month absence while Derek was fighting for his life after getting COVID-19 in March.

Derek went into a coma caused by doctors and recently opened his eyes.

However, the former lobbyist has “minimum consciousness” and Kate previously mentioned there is a “long road” ahead of them and their family.
