In December 2019, rumors circulated that Lily James and Matt Smith had separated. Fast forward until May 2020, and the pair were photographed in combination for the first time in 3 months. Neither commented on the status of their appointments and discussions among enthusiasts resumed after Lily James met Chris Evans this weekend.
First noted in an outdoor combination at a London club and at the Evans Hotel on the Fourth of July, James and Evans were seen eating ice cream and laughing in a London park on 8 July. They may both be close friends, but it’s no wonder this nice outing has sparked a rumor of encounters. Bustle has contacted the representatives of the two actors and I will let you know if they are coming back with any comments.
As Refinery29 says, Evans is “known for his personal life when it comes to who he’s dating.” Her date with actress Jenny Slate, which ended in 2018, was the only one Evans shared publicly. So, if mamma Mia and Captain America’s stars really come out, they’ll probably need to keep things on the disabled list.
As to why Evans is in London, cinema Cinema Blend notes that the star has several upcoming assignments that could become the next city, adding that the actor is in talks to star in Little Shop Of Horrors, or even an assignment adding James. We’ll have to wait and see.
