Penny Lancaster has revealed that she injured her knee while on a hike with her husband, Sir Rod Stewart.
The 52-year-old former style said she suffered a torn meniscus, which bothered her because of her activity in Brazil with the singer.
He saw her on crutches as she attended the launch of Geri Halliwell-Horner’s book, Rosie Frost And The Falcon Queen, at the Tower of London on Tuesday night.
Lancaster told PA news that he had an “initial torn meniscus” that hit the bone above his knee due to “touring activity” with Sir Rod in Brazil.
His representative added: “The cause of the injury is not known, nor at this level the treatment. That will be at a later date. “
They also clarified that the injury is “not related” to his activities as a special agent with the City of London Police.
Lancaster began volunteering for the force after appearing on Channel 4’s Famous And Fighting Crime, where celebrities swapped their day job with that of emergency professionals.
He then finished his education in a special gendarmerie in April 2021.
In September 2022, Lancaster took to the streets of central London as part of the police force tasked with tracking the Queen’s funeral procession.
