Phil Collins’ song ‘In the Air Tonight’ returns years after Twins’ viral video

A Phil Collins song from decades ago is attracting renewed attention thanks to a couple of YouTubers brothers.

On July 27, Tim and Fred Williams released a video of themselves reacting to the 1981 Grammy winner’s song “In the Air Tonight” when they first heard it.His reaction video has been viewed more than a million times on YouTube.

The 22-year-old twins, who in Gary, Indiana, documented their original first impressions of the song, adding their infectious enthusiasm to the song’s drum solo in half.After hearing the song, the brothers agreed that Collins, now 69, “He killed him”, calling the song a “banger”.

In making the video series, the couple said they had discovered top artists such as Freddie Mercury and Queen, Luther Vandross, Tom Jones, opera star Luciano Pavarotti and Aerosmith, among others. “There’s more than rap, ” said Fred. “There’s a lot more than I thought.”

Tim came up with the concept last year while Fred was leying criminal justice at Indiana State University. His intention to expand the musical repertoire of the duo, which was largely aimed at religious music.

They record their videos in an impromptu studio in Tim’s room and around 2 p.m. each and every day, they pay attention to the decades of successes that are unknown to them. His recent video reaction to Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” even caught the legend’s attention.
