Police call: officials capture suspect B

West Third Street – Agents were dispatched to an apartment Wednesday in reference to a welfare check of two children, ages 1 and 10, due to the suspect’s drug use. When the officials arrived, the representative of the children’s facilities said the woman would not open the door. The apartment was incredibly overlooked and unhealthy for children. None of the children have their own bed and do not share the same bed. The pieces in the bathroom were stacked to the point that there was no access to the shower. The suspect had no food in the cabinets or the refrigerator. The floor of the apartment contained old food, prescription pills, clothing, trash, cat droppings, cigarette butts and other trash. The woman said she did not have a running sweeper to clean up the mess. She has no telephone and no way to call emergency services if something happens while she is worried about the children. The children may not be contacted, one at school and the other with a member of the family circle. The 34-year-old woman was cited for endangering children. Children’s facilities officials said they would check to get in touch with the victim’s school and circle of family members concerned about the other child.
