Rachel Lindsay was beaming as she attended a school football event in Atlanta just weeks after finalizing her divorce from Bryan Abasolo.
The former Bachelorette, 39, smiled from ear to ear while attending the annual AllSstate playoff party on Saturday, January 18.
Lindsay wore a black blouse and black skirt with a black and gold belt and black suede boots for the bash, which was hosted by ESPN and the College Football Playoff ahead of the National Championship game on Monday. (Ohio State University and University of Notre Dame will play in Atlanta on Monday night.)
The former Truth star completed her party look with a brown suede coat, a black necklace, and a gold charm necklace. She wore her hair wavy. Lindsay’s most productive support, however, might have been her big white smile.
The school football occasion marked Lindsay’s first public outing since Us revealed that she and Abasolo, 44, finalized their divorce on January 7.
Lindsay and Abasolo fell in love on the 13th season of The Bachelorette, which aired in 2017. They married two years later, after getting engaged on the show.
Abasolo filed for divorce in January 2024, the date of their separation as December 31, 2023.
The former couple soon found themselves in a confusing legal battle, because they had not signed a prenuptial agreement before their wedding.
Us Weekly showed in July 2024 that Lindsay had been ordered to pay her ex-husband $13,257 per month in transitional spousal support. A judgment also ordered him to pay Abasolo $15,000 in attorneys’ fees and $5,000 in forensic fees.
As for their divorce settlement, Us showed that Abasolo “waives, releases and releases” Lindsay from “all” long-term payments. However, the January filing revealed that Lindsay still owed Abasolo $460,229.
Aside from Lindsay’s unpaid bills to Abasolo, the former spouses appeared to have reached a roughly equivalent agreement for the apartment of their properties.
Abasolo will stay at his Miami home and in his 2021 Honda Accord, according to the documents. In the meantime, Lindsay will keep her engagement and wedding rings, as well as her California home and her 2023 Porsche Macan.
