Olympian Matty Lee and actor Adam Woodyatt are the sixth and seventh applicants to vote for I’m A Celebrity. . . Get me out of here!.
Soap opera star Woodyatt lasted thirteen days on ITV, while gold medalist Lee spent 18 days at Gwrych Castle.
After watching a video of the highlights of his time in North Wales, Woodyatt said he was nervous about being himself, as he had “spent 36 years with a script” betting on Ian Beale’s character in EastEnders.
In sixth place on the show, Woodyatt, 53, said, “I had a time . . . We were a very close-knit group, David (Ginola) said we had to stay together in the locker room.
“I laughed so much. . . however, I sought to do a food test. “
Co-host Declan Donnelly joked, “We can see if we can pick up some testicles and drop them off at the hotel. “
In Friday’s wonderful eviction, diver Lee left the camp with fifth place.
Speaking to presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec after his elimination, Lee described his time at the camp as “difficult”.
The 23-year-old added: “Winning a gold medal is the most productive thing I could have dreamed of, but you win a medal for yourself. Getting stars for the camp is for others.
The surprise double exit meant Frankie Bridge, David Ginola, Danny Miller and Simon Gregson stayed, who will take part in the notorious Celebrity Cyclone rehearsal on Saturday’s show.
At the start of the show, former footballer Ginola vowed to undergo “major” treatment after explaining to his campmates how he survived a centre attack at a charity event in France in 2016.
In the episode, the 54-year-old, who won CPR in the area of fellow footballer Frederic Mendy, asked if he had undergone treatment after his central attack.
Ginola said, “Yes. When I left the hospital, it was the first thing I was asked to do.
“They said, ‘You might not have all the answers to your questions, at least pass the talk. ‘
“I’m going to (get some). . . I think it’s necessary, it’s very important. Just to make it transparent and say, wow, that’s fine.
Ginola told the camp that she met the love of her life, Maeva Denat, on the same day of her clinical death, adding, “Two things in one day, I locate love and I’m dead. . . great song. ” In the Telegraph room, the former Saturdays Bridge singer said: “He’s a few-word guy, he has his pride.
“For him to open up and say, ‘Actually, you know, I learned while I’m here that maybe this is anything I do,’ I think it was incredible. “
Early in the episode, Bridge told gold medalist diver Lee that he treated him in hospital for depression in 2011.
She said: “I had depression and anxiety and I had depression when I was 21. I had experienced a very serious breakup, it was actually public, and they were all really horrible. “I was with Wayne (Bridge), I was able to serve like at work, however then I would come home and couldn’t serve as. Just crying all the time. Basically, I didn’t need to be alive anymore. “Wayne called my doctor and said, ‘I don’t know what to do with her anymore. ‘So they came to see me and made a decision that I had to go to the hospital.
The mother of two had to shoot a music video in Iceland before she was taken from the airport to the hospital.
Speaking about her fun in the hospital, the 32-year-old added: “You think she would feel, like she would hate it, but in fact, it’s a very clever memory.
“It was the first time in years that I felt relaxed, I had nothing to hide.
“I didn’t have to pretend to be satisfied all the time. Being in the hospital is a breath of new air, really, but it’s a young age to have a nervous breakdown. “because I knew I was looking for children. I like it, I can’t be like that if I need to be a mom.
“In fact, I was lucky that Wayne put me there, basically, and maybe just send me. “
Also in the episode, Lee competed in the Lethal Latrine Event, a bathroom staying power check, earning six stars for the camp.
