Sean Penn and her friend Leila George have taken the next step in their relationship.
The actor, who turns 60 this month, and the actress, 28, newly married, to her friend, the philanthropist Irena Medavoy.
“We are very pleased that @leilageorge #seanpenn has been married. We love them,” Medavoy wrote on Friday in a celebratory message on social media, along with an image slideshow, adding a photo showing the actress’ blue engagement ring, as well as a pair of matching gold rings worn through the couple.
“We are very happy with your true soul mate,” he added. “They are destined to be in combination with God blessing you both.”
Rosanna Arquette also wanted the couple to be lucky in the comments section, writing, “Wonderful.” Love and light, ” while Josh Brolin responded with a number of central emojis.
The couple’s wedding comes just days after they were having dinner in Los Angeles with the actor’s 26-year-old son, Hopper.

The couple, which has been dating since 2016, has a philanthropic commitment.
Penn and George were noticed in combination in April helping volunteers at a driving coronavirus control site in Los Angeles, and in March they made a rare appearance in combination while attending a fundraising event that the actress had organized to receive aid in Australia following the devastating wildfires.
“It’s the most vital thing [to have your support]. I wouldn’t be here smiling if it wasn’t for him,” George told People at the event.
George also supported the aid effort organized by the Milk Star Community (CORE), which partnered with the mayor and the Los Angeles chimney branch to manage the sites and lose the necessary fitness staff on the front lines.
The actress even gave the impression on Penn’s audiobook, Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff.
Penn separated from Charlize Theron in June 2015. In the past he was married to Robin Wright from 1996 to 2010 and to Madonna from 1985 to 1989.
The actor has two sons from his marriage to Wright: his daughter Dylan, 28, and Hopper.
