Sigourney Weaver talks about the next Avatar 2.
The actress spoke to T magazine and told the publication that she had filmed her underwater scenes in a giant tank with weights around her and that professional divers were leading her to surface jumps.
“I had some concerns,” admitted the 71-year-old Weaver, recounting his delight on the James Cameron set, “but that’s what education was for. And I wanted to do it. “
She continued, “I didn’t need to think, “Oh, she’s older, she can’t do that. “
Weaver prepared for the role taking diving categories in Hawaii and Key West, Florida. He also trained with a teacher who had worked in the past with army divers and learned to hold his breath for more than six minutes with an oxygen supplement.
“I hope what I get from the universe is even more outrageous than anything I can think of,” Weaver said. “I don’t think ” well, you can’t do that “or” you can’t do that. “Let me go! And let’s see. “

Although production of avatar’s highly anticipated sequels was stopped in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, director James Cameron and his team were able to return to New Zealand in June to continue filming.

“We are 100 percent complete in Avatar 2 and 95% in Avatar 3,” Cameron told Arnold Schwarzenegger last month during his discussion for the 2020 Austrian World Summit.
“We are very lucky to have selected this production site years ago,” he added, praising New Zealand’s handling of the pandemic. “We must work. We have to turn around and lead a more or less general life here. luck, so I see no impediment to completing the photo, completing any of the images. “
Disney has set the date for Avatar 2 through December 16, 2022 and Avatar 3 through December 20, 2024. The fourth and fifth films will be released in theaters in 2026 and 2028, respectively.
