Creative inspiration can strike at any time, and Twilight fan Olivia Rodrigo knows it. While secluded at home, many celebrities have relied on their own reports to create very private projects like Taylor Swift folklore. But others have also turned to external stimuli to let their creativity flow. Olivia, meanwhile, turns out to have discovered her artistic pot of gold in Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight.

The first installment in the seminal vampire saga, or the first “existential art” movie, as RobPat recently called it, occupies a mid-level in Olivia’s new creation. Like JustJaredJr. reported, on Aug. 23, that the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star took to Instagram to give a behind-the-scenes look at her writing process, and showed her source to fans. unforeseen inspiration. “It wasn’t me who blocked [the writer] and wrote a pop song about Bella Swan moving to Forks and reuniting Edward Cullen in a science lab,” Olivia wrote in a video of her with her trusty guitar in hand. And if that sounds like a bop already, that’s because it is.

“New city, new car, new friends, new place, look for compatibility in… I’ve never been the most productive speaking,” Olivia sings in the opening verse, accompanied by scathing guitar riffs. “Lockers and lunches here, the women are all so strange and I was never the most productive in speaking, but I saw you across the room. I said hi and I’m new. And I swear there’s something about you . . . So you want to pass out? Maybe we can understand? Oh, do you like music? Hey, me too! I don’t know if you’re busy, I don’t know if you like me. I don’t know if it’s bizarre but I love you a little. little thing in town is rarely as bad as I thought . . . do you need to pass out or not? “

Well, that’s the main story of Twilight perfectly summed up in less than forty-five seconds. Now that we know that Stephanie Meyer plans to write at least two more books for the series, Olivia will have enough source material.
