Titled The Last Attack, the Attack on Titan movie has already earned a Japanese date, and with the announcement of some fancy tweaks to the anime’s ending, here’s hoping a Western is on the way.

The 145-minute Attack on Titan film will pick up where episode 87 of Dawn of Mankind left off: a team of former allies and enemies, including Mikasa, Levi, Gabi, Armin, and Annie, with the goal of taking down the master of The Rumbling. plan.

The Attack on Titan movie has some slight changes from the final chapters. The biggest and most apparent difference is the sound quality: The Last Attack features 5. 1 surround sound.
The anime’s images will also be “updated”, it is not yet known at this time what precise form it will take. Perhaps we’ll expect slightly softer animations and designs from the perfectionist team at MAPPA.
On top of that, series director Yuichiro Hayashi believes that the Last Attack movie will be the definitive way to see the end of Attack on Titan.
Hayashi said on (H/T Crunchyroll): “I originally drew the storyboards [for The Final Chapters] with the concept that it would look like a single movie. So, to have the opportunity for everyone to see it in the most productive way possible. possible environment, the theater, is for me a dream come true. “
The cast of the Attack on Titan movie will almost remain the same as the anime. As the English dubbing has not yet been confirmed, for now we are left with the Japanese casting:
