Attack on Titan: The Last Attack will hit Japanese theaters on November 8.

Attack on Titan The Movie: The Last Attack are necessarily the last two episodes of the Attack on Titan anime combined into one long presentation.

The 145-minute Attack on Titan film will pick up where episode 87 of Dawn of Mankind left off: a team of former allies and enemies, including Mikasa, Levi, Gabi, Armin, and Annie, with the goal of taking down the master of The Rumbling. plan.

Essentially a cataclysmic event that will wipe out the entire world, Eren commands an army of colossal titans and lays out his intention to end the cycle of violence by destroying everything in Marley and beyond to Paradise Island. From there? Well, that would be telling, but it puts a definitive end to the Attack on Titan saga.

The first trailer for Attack on Titan The Movie: The Last Attack is here. Fortunately for those who have not yet delved into the final chapters, there are few spoilers.

In it, scenes from the ultimate war are shown, with the action mainly focusing on Eren’s Founding Titan, Mikasa flying through the air, and Hange hunting in the sky. You can watch the 30-second clip for yourself above.

The Attack on Titan movie has some slight changes from the final chapters. The biggest and most apparent difference is the sound quality: The Last Attack features 5. 1 surround sound.

The anime’s images will also be “updated”, it is not yet known at this time what precise form it will take. Perhaps we’ll expect slightly softer animations and designs from the perfectionist team at MAPPA.

On top of that, series director Yuichiro Hayashi believes that the Last Attack movie will be the definitive way to see the end of Attack on Titan.

Hayashi said on (H/T Crunchyroll): “I originally drew the storyboards [for The Final Chapters] with the concept that it would look like a single movie. So, to have the opportunity for everyone to see it in the most productive way possible. possible environment, the theater, is for me a dream come true. “

The cast of the Attack on Titan movie will almost remain the same as the anime. As the English dubbing has not yet been confirmed, for now we are left with the Japanese casting:

At the time of writing, the Attack on Titan movie will only be available in Japanese theaters starting in November. At the very least, we expect it to come to Crunchyroll in the long run and to Western theaters. If that happens, it probably won’t be until 2025 at the earliest.
