LINCOLNTON, N. C. — Two more people are facing theft charges after lawmakers said they stole about $1,500 worth of lumber from a home construction site, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
On Thursday, May 16, MPs gained information about a white truck that stole timber from a space beneath a structure on Null Road, near Lincolnton, twice earlier in the week. Photos from a tracking camera of the house in progress helped MPs identify the markings. in the truck.
Later that day, police officers conducted a traffic stop on a white Ford F-150 loaded with wood on Hatchette Road. They received a search warrant on Hatchette Road and said they recovered 110 pieces of wood from the two robberies. wooden ones are worth $1,500.
William Christopher Goins, 48, and Kimberly Bivens, 49, were questioned about the robberies before being charged with robbery. Bivens was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were taken to the Harven A Detention Center. Crouse. Goins was granted bail as he obtained a notable warrant for his arrest for failure to appear.
Bivens won a $5,500 bond.
