These few weeks have been busy and stressful for Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave.
First, 7-and-a-half-year-old Slate, daughter of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, “cut her finger to the tip” on a door. Then, a month later, her 5-month-old daughter, Dove, underwent neurosurgery after she was diagnosed with lambdoid craniosynostosis.
Now, Mellencamp Arroyave’s son of the time, Five-and-a-half-year-old Cruz, has taken over the doctor after being injured while cycling with his father Edwin Arroyave.
“Please tell me how you’re with Dad, go for a motorbike ride, fall and break your thumb and now you have to plaster. How’s it going?” asked the 39-year-old mother. son with a laugh in a video posted Monday on his Instagram story.
“2020 is enough,” he joked.

Mellencamp Arroyave then posted videos of Cruz packing for his neon green plaster (during which his doctor gently rubbed plaster like a cool lamp), telling his son, “You can swim in it, you can play sports there, you can do it yourself. want.”
Follow-up videos have noticed that Cruz was hanging out with his sister Slate, before showing humor that his cast signed with messages such as “Mommy Loves You”, “Chow Has Super Powers”, “High 5” and even Dove’s “Ouchie Club”. .
Bravo’s star’s messages about Cruz’s injury came days after Dove’s surgery expired last week. On Sunday, Mellencamp Arroyave gave an update on her granddaughter’s postoperative condition, reflecting on Dove’s strength to undergo the medical procedure at such a young age.
“It’s amazing the resilience of children. Dove enters neurosurgery after the fourth day with his eyes open. The swelling went down, all his markers passed and they sent us home much earlier than expected,” said singer John Mellencamp’s daughter.

Dove surgery and Cruz’s damaged thumb are just the last health obstacles for the Arroyave family. Last June, Mellencamp Arroyave referred to the main points of his Teddi Tea Pod podcast about a terrifying twist of fate that saw her eldest daughter lose the tip of one of her fingers.
Slate was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where doctors cut off his amputee finger again in the hope that he would be cured. But after three weeks of being in a “huge plaster,” healing had not progressed as expected, and the little woman had to go through skin grafting surgery.
Since then, Slate has been able to “resume his right hand” and is out of the cast. But Mellencamp Arroyave was not immune to the guilt surrounding the incident, although fortunately his eldest saw things differently.
“At one point, [Slate] looked at me and said, ‘Hey Mom, just so you know, it wasn’t your fault,'” the star recalled. “And I thought, ‘Well, I feel like it was my fault. I told you before I went out to go out to waste so I wouldn’t follow him. And I know the door’s heavy’ and all that stuff, and she was like, ‘Mom, I’m fine.’ “
