There are other big new movies and TV shows you can watch at your leisure this week. Matt Damon and Zac Braff have movies coming out this week for weekend movie night. Reality TV enthusiasts will be interested in the Dance Moms reboot or Disney’s new showcase featuring two members of the beloved K-pop organization BTS. Additionally, the final season of Umbrella Academy will premiere on Thursday.

Matt Damon and Casey Affleck star in The Instigators, a film about a robbery that went wrong. Dance Moms: A New Era is everything you know and love about the original, only with new faces and new drama. Young dancers will be pushed to their limits as they take their skills to the next level. The fourth and final season of Netflix’s Umbrella Academy will premiere on August 8. This season, the Hargreeves brothers will face The Keepers. These moments are documented in Disney’s new series Are You Sure?!  The couple from the popular K-pop organization is on vacation in the United States where they test new experiments that in the end lead to chaos and laughter. The first two episodes of Are You Sure?! will premiere on Disney on August 8.

Zach Braff and Vanessa Hudgens star in French Girl, a film released on Freevee on August 6. Braff plays Gordon, a hopeless romantic whose world is turned upside down when his friend moves to Quebec. To make matters worse, her friend will now have a strong relationship with her ex (Hudgens). Misadventures follow one another as Gordon does everything he can to win back the love of his life.

The Emmy Award-winning sports series Hard Knocks returns for its 19th edition. This year, the documentary crew will remain at the Chicago Bears’ educational camp as they prepare for the upcoming NFL season. Football enthusiasts will get a behind-the-scenes look at how general manager Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus lead the Chicago Bears. The first episode of Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Chicago Bears will air on Max on August 6.

Wes Ball, whose projects beyond that come with the Maze Runner trilogy, is directing the definitive film in the franchise Planet of the Apes. In Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, apes have completely taken over and live in harmony, while humans hide in the shadows. When a new leader takes control and wants to end the human threat for good, an alliance is formed between a human (Freya Allan from The Witcher) and a primate. Fry, Bfinisher, Leela, and the rest of the Planet Express gang are back for Futurama season 12.   This is the second season to premiere on Hulu since the beloved series was revived. We’re not sure what’s in store for the interplanetary delivery service team, but we think they’ll travel to new worlds and end up on fun adventures. In honor of SpongeBob’s 25th anniversary, Sandy Cheeks is getting his own movie on Netflix. When Bikini Bottom and its citizens are evacuated from the ocean, it is up to air-breathing Sandy to save the city. While several of your favorite aquatic characters will appear, including Squidward and Patrick, this movie takes place primarily on land as Sandy enlists the help of her family of southern squirrels to save his friends. Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie premiered on Netflix on August 2.
