EXCLUSIVE: I married a mobster Producer Dan Pearson will present a number of social justice formats and crowds with Painless Productions after a co-production deal with the manufacturer of The Dead Files.
Pearson, dan four Entertainment (DfourE), is running with Painless, found by Jim Casey, to expand and produce un scripted programming that focuses on social justice, organized crime and entertainment formats through black celebrities.
The whiteboard includes a series on criminal justice In the act aspect that points to police corruption, basketball moms set up a documentary series that follows the moms of some of the NBA’s most prominent players, and Up and Out with Keith David, a Supernanny-style format that will see the platoon actor help the adults living with his parents.
Pearson will work heavily with CEO Casey, Nicole Reed, Vice President of Development, and Ross Kaiman, Vice President of Project Creation.
In addition to generating I Married A Mobster of Investigation Discovery, he developed a series of 1980s mobsters for Showtime with Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way.
